Expert Roofers in Oadby & Wigston Borough

Two Towns, One Borough

Oadby & Wigston is a compact borough immediately south of Leicester, made up of the two towns of Oadby and Wigston. Both have ancient origins — Oadby appears in the Domesday Book, while Wigston grew from a small Saxon settlement into a thriving village.

From Framework Knitting to Suburbia

In the 18th and 19th centuries, Wigston became a major centre for framework knitting and hosiery, like much of Leicestershire. As Leicester expanded, both Oadby and Wigston transformed into sought-after suburban towns, with substantial housing developments in the 20th century.

Suburban Roofing Specialists

Today, Oadby & Wigston is largely residential, with a mix of Victorian and Edwardian homes, inter-war semis, and modern estates. Our roofing team is well versed in the property types common to the borough, from tile replacements to fascia and guttering upgrades.
